What we collect

·Contact information you provide directly: name, email, phone, and shipping/billing address entered at checkout or on the contact form.
·Order details: items purchased, fulfillment method (pickup or shipped), and the live spot snapshot captured at order time.
·Government-issued ID information when required by law for buyback, smelting, or reportable-sale transactions (retained per IRS, FinCEN, and NJ precious-metals dealer rules).
·Standard server logs from our hosting provider: IP address, browser type, referring page, and pages visited. We use minimal cookies for theme preference and cart state — no third-party advertising pixels or cross-site tracking pixels are loaded by this site.
·Payment method coordination only: we accept wire transfer, business check, and Zelle. We do not run cards on this site and do not store card numbers, ACH credentials, or banking details on our systems.

·Fulfilling your order, confirming payment, and arranging shipping or in-store pickup.
·Communicating about quotes, lot status, payouts, and follow-ups you have initiated.
·Complying with state and federal precious-metals, AML, and tax-reporting requirements.
·We do not sell, rent, or share customer data with third-party marketers.

·Hosting: Vercel Inc. serves this site and processes standard request logs on our behalf.
·Live spot pricing: we pull real-time precious-metals quotes from a commercial spot-price API. Only anonymous request metadata reaches that vendor — no customer PII is forwarded.
·Email delivery: transactional emails (order confirmations, shipping notices, replies from Andrew) are sent through a standard email-delivery provider.
·We do not use Stripe, Square, PayPal, or any other card processor on this site.

·You have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to receive a copy of it, and to request correction or deletion. Email andrew@bayshorebullionexchange.com and we will respond within 30 days.
·You have the right to opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, so this opt-out is effectively the default.
·You will not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights.
·Residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, and other states with comprehensive privacy laws may exercise the equivalent rights granted by their state statute through the same email.

·This site is not directed to anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has provided information to us, email andrew@bayshorebullionexchange.com and we will delete it promptly.

·Order records: retained 7 years to comply with tax and AML record-keeping requirements.
·Marketing contacts: removed within 30 days of an unsubscribe request.
·You may request a copy of, correction of, or deletion of your data by emailing andrew@bayshorebullionexchange.com.

·We use a cookie to remember your theme preference (dark/light) and a session cookie to keep your cart intact while you browse. No advertising, retargeting, or cross-site tracking cookies are set.
